James the Train

So happy that Paul John's Grandpa & Grandma are back from Australia last nite! And Grandma had bought me a gift all the way from Australia!

Wanted to open the packing and play immediately the minute I saw it! But I just had to wait till we reach home! Home at last and I got to play with it now!

There was this piece of catalogue in the packing which had all the rest of Thomas & Friends pics on it. I browse through and think that there are more than I wanted.

Nevermind, I just play on with James the Train first. Maybe...

Who's there?

Oh it's you, Ozzy! What's up? You wanna play as well?

Oh you don't, nevermind then.

Ride On

"I was forced to go for a hair cut the week before! So many (Aunty Janet, Uncle Bex, Xiao Yi & Mama) had accompanied me there to the hairdresser, luckily it's not to a barber!

Well, the moment I reach there, I put on a fight! I ran, said 'NO NO', cried and that's my way of defending myself! Although the hairdresser treat me sweet sweet, or offer me balloon after the hair cut or to play Barney on the portable VCD player...I just don't buy it!

So the hairdresser last resort was to get Mama to hold me while she cut my hair! That doesn't work either! Cos' I just don't like to cut my hair! Can't stand when the hair fall onto my hand too!

So I walked around here and there while the poor hairdresser followed me all the way too. She talked a lot but I just can't be bothered! Yet she managed to cut my hair bit by bit till she left the fringe! Out of no choice, Uncle Bex had helped her by holding onto my head and let her finished up the last bit! I cried!"

"Well, things just get better when I got to go shopping and ride on those fancy rides! But I'm still angry over the hair cut!"

"Then came a girl who eyed on the same ride as me, so we shared it together."

"Slowly...I forgot the whole hair cut incident and went all out to have fun!"

Future Sportman

It was Keith's school sport day last Sunday. But a pity that we did not managed to attend his big day as it was too early in the morning.

We received 2 Keith's pics from Aunty Cheng in the nite through email. This pic on the left shown that Keith is in action racing against his schoolmate while his supporters look on and cheer for him!

Wow, it looks fun! Wonder will I get to participate in one like this in future?

The next pic shown here that Keith had made it, holding onto his trophy with a VICTORY sign! So cool!

Dear God Brother, I want to tell you that I am PROUD of you!

Airport

"We went to Changi Airport the other night to send Paul John's Grandpa & Grandma off to Australia for holidays. It was a long journey there but I've 2 extra companies with me along the way there. That's none other than Paul John and Mary Ann.

They had shared the back seats of Papa car car with me and we enjoyed ourselves watching Elmo's VCD through my personal portable DVD player attached on Papa Car seat! So cool huh! I remember that we sang songs and did hand signs together. There was so much fun."

"The minute we reached the Airport, I was so eager to run free! It was so spacious everywhere we go...so just when no one was holding onto me...I went dashing forward to no where! Of cos' as usual, I heard a lot of shouting and yelling on my name...'Skyy Skyy...Skyy Skyy...'

While waiting for the time for Grandpa & Grandma to board the airplane, they decided to have a rest at the foodcourt. But you knew that I can't sit still, so I looked around the area for a spot that I called it 'Playground'!

And I did found one! That's the long stretch of benches for diners whereby no one is occupying them at that moment! I went up the benches and start jumping then was asked to come down. So I don't jump on it this time but I walked to and fro the long stretch! Yet there was not too much fun...then I saw a head started sticking out from above the benches and he smiled at me! That act of Paul John caught my attention and soon I was sticking out my head to look at the rest from my side! We were like going in and out in between the openings to give each other a surprise after that. It was so much fun and I think we had awakened the quietness at Airport!

Mama started taking pics for us and this is one of the interesting ones! Can you guess who's hands were that? Yes, you are right! That's Paul John's!"

"Not long after, there was a new friend that wanted to join us. Isn't he gorgeous with the curly hair and big round eyes? But it's a pity that he doesn't understand English so we communicated through our baby language instead.

Well, fun time is always short. We headed home soon right after Grandpa & Grandma had entered the departure hall! And on our way home, there's no more extra company but just Mama and me at the back seats.

A Night Out at the Pasar Malam

Hey, had updated on my blog that I got a fruitful trip the other day with Mama to the Pasar Malam. Remember?

Pasar Malam means Night Market in Malay and you get to see these Pasar Malam being set up at different corners of Singapore here for just a few days or weeks.

This pic above shown me on a particular ride that I simply enjoyed! Wonder did you ride it before? Do you know what ride was it?

Yes, you are right! It's the merry-go-round ride with different type of vehicles. And I had chosen my favorite Train Train that day.

But you can also see that I'm quite sad when the ride stopped moving and got to leave...

Tried looking at Mama with my sadden eyes and hope that I can have one more go but was...you should know what happen next, right?

But my sad emotion did not come into the way as I got another ride! That's to ride a 'Doo Doo Train' alone! Yes, the whole train train just by myself! So proud. The pic was captured when it was in motion hence it tends to be blurred!

'Doodoo doodoo...doodoo doodoo...'

Here's another ride with different creatures that goes up and down then round and round! Kind of giddy and I couldn't locate Mama when I'm up there.

But I can hear it loud and clear -
'Skyy skyy...Skyy skyy...'

Beside those rides, I had my 1st adventure on the inflated playground!

I was like a countryside boy that never enter the inflated playground before, so my eyes were opened wide and kept staring at the playground for a minute! Then when I landed on it, I just kept saying 'Wow...wow...wow...' in the first few seconds...

Next, I was spotted to be running around, going up the stairs and slide down from the slide! I've even tried to dash down the slide at times instead of sliding down! So much fun and I never got myself hurt when I fell!

Then there was this road block by a BIG fat boy whom is taller by me by one head size at one point of time! He just stood there and reluctant to give way...so I made a U turn and left him alone! (SMART move huh!)

I carried on with my exploring in the playground until a smaller size and younger boy grab hold of my hair and start pulling! OUCH! Luckily Mama was there to help and got the boy to release my hair immediately! He got a scolding from Mama but was let off soon after! Well, I didn't even make a cry at that point of time but was kind of loss on what was happening anyway...

The day ended shortly after that leaving Mama carrying a sticky and stinky me home! I think I had sweet dreams that night.

On our way home tonight, when we were passing by the Pasar Malam spot, I asked Mama for Train Train...but sad to say that it had already been moved away since days ago!

Down with Flu & Cough!

"Seems like it's the Rainy season with lots and lots of flu virus in the air lately! I was also a targeted flu virus victim! It all striked off just like that on Monday morning! The fluid just run down my nose by itself and continuously.

So here we were on our way by bus to see Dr Lee first thing on Tuesday morning. Mama had accompanied me as usual.

Just can't help to be upset that I'm going to get more 'tian tian' (sweet sweet in chinese but Skyy's way of saying medicine)! I just hate the thoughts that I'm going to be forced to take them! I still prefer the chinese tian tian that is in powder form and just need to mix with water and take them."

"It's been a long week and I got to visit Aunty Janet and the rest at her place on Good Friday. Beside Keith and Janita, Cousin Ryan & Charlene were there too. We had so much fun and Aunt's house had suddenly become like a childcare center in some extend.

One minute someone shout, the next minute someone cried, but I was cool all the time. I took my nap there soon after we reached as Mama & I were the first to arrive. Uncle Bex were so nice that he on the aircon just for me during my cosy nap. Just forgotten what dreams I had that day...must be a good dream I guessed."

"Sigh, back to reality...almost reach Dr Lee's clinic now...

Better start praying that there will not be too many types of tian tian...Oh no, oh no..."

Train Train

Hey, this is one of my coolest present from Nanny and family! It's a train set...doo doo, doo doo...train train come here, come here...

I was so excited that I kept talking to my new train train and Mama just don't get what I'm saying most of the time. Well, I'm just enjoying myself in my own world!

After a while, I just invited Jack jack and fren to join me in my play. They took a seat in the center of my train track while my train train & I just go round and round.

(Not long after) I cried and made a fuss when the track went out of place or my train train was out of the track! Then Mama called...and the worst thing happened..."Huh? So soon? Milk time and then bedtime??? Oh no..."

(Pause for awhile)"But...we just went a few rounds! Can I have 2 more rounds please..."

My Day

"I had an enjoyable day on my birthday last Sunday! To start off with the day was a big gift from Aunty Patty - an ELMO birthday cake!

The design of the cake is simply Elmo with wordings - Skyy is 2! And yes, I'm 2 yrs old now! So great! The cake taste great too as all my guests enjoyed it. Just kind of sad to see that Elmo is being divided into pieces and eaten up! Oh no, no more Elmo!

My guests - My family and Nanny's family attended my day. I was showered with gifts and yet more gifts, just like a pampered child! Papa & Mama even put up the same tees that I was wearing - Sesame Street tees in blue featuring all the famous characters like Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Oscar and ..."

(This was my Elmo birthday cake.)

"I've got some great pals to have fun with too that day. Here we have Keith, Paul John & Janita while Mary Ann, Ryan & Charlene not shown here. There were screaming, laughter, cries, shouting, giggling and so on during our presence there, we must have awakened the quiet neighborhood that night! So sorry..."

"Had received too many presents that I don't know which one to play with but this driving piece is one of my favorite and also one that I long to have the last time I went to Toys'R'us! The hat is just too big for my small little head at this moment but it can fit on right for Papa!

Other than this one, I received 2 watches, one from Grandpa and the other from Grandma! Great minds do think alike at this point for them! One is a sporty Adidas while the other is an adorable Disney Mickey & Minnie Mouse.

Received a whole set of train plus tracks toys from Nanny and family. It was actually chosen by me! Hee hee...Other gifts are toy Airplane, playing mat with a train track drew on it and surrounded by great scenery, clothing and hey...what did Papa and Mama got for me this time round??? Nothing in particular again just like my last X'mas! Oh no..."

A King Treatment

I was treated like a king the other day at Aunty Cheng place while Mama was working during a weekend!

The day started with a warm welcome by sister Janita and Brother Keith! They prepared loads of toys for me to choose and were extremely friendly to me.

Soon after a short play on the toys, there was a treat to the playground, my favorite! Think I must be dashing too fast whereby Aunty Cheng couldn't catch up with me so both Janita & Keith did. They must be exhausted by chasing after me and called out to me to be careful and slow down. But I just couldn't stop as my excitement level will rise to the peak when I saw the playground!

I've actually caused my Uncle (Nanny's hubby) in spraining his back when I suddenly dash out to the playground one day! He tried to chase after me but had a fall instead! Mama and Papa ended up driving him to see a Chinese physician and paid for the charges. Think this was not the worst part but Uncle couldn't bring me out for a walk after the fall for quite some time. So during that period, I'm always wishing for a walk after my dinner and it never...got fulfilled. Only occasionally by my Nanny Agnes. This had made me learnt a lesson.

Oh back to my treatment at Aunty Cheng place - After having so much fun, I got my second shower of the day, followed by a hearty meal of home cook porridge then a good afternoon nap with Janita & Keith. Sweet dreams all the way then more fun play and watching VCD till Mama & Papa fetch me up in the evening.

I've never failed to enjoy myself during the short stay at Aunty Cheng place as there are so many toys, VCDs and most of all, sister Janita & Brother Keith's companions! Thank you to you all for giving me all the sweet memories while I'm always looking forward for the next visit!

Flying in the Air

"Wee Woooo...wee wooooo...WOooooooowwW!

I'm flying with my new collection - Helicopter! The feeling is so free and is better than dashing here and there I guess! I can see the rising SUN, floating clouds and bird bird flying along me.

Too bad that there's only one driver seat in my helicopter while there's no passenger seat, if not, I can give you a ride to the big blue SKY! Even Mama & Papa don't get free ride too. So sad.

Any thoughts from you?

Hey, have you ever met up with situation like your Mama or Papa board a crowded bus with yourself and both of you can't find a spot to settle down?

You were just a toddler at that time so your Mama or Papa must carry you and try to find a seat to settle down fast but sad to see that all seats are occupied while no one is willing to give up their seats to you. Isn't this scene very familiar to you and has been happening almost on all kinds of transport? On the MRT, LRT...I often see old lady or man struggling to balance themselves in a crowded bus when it was moving…some kids of my age got to stand and hold on to the pole too if there’s no seats for them…what actually went wrong here? Maybe I’m too young to understand that but why aren’t the bus big enough to accommodate all of us? Or there will be lesser people on the bus on every trip so that I can choose the seat I want? Or kids like us don’t have to travel on crowded bus but in luxury car or taxi?

Well, not all human beings are bad lor...we came across this middle aged lady with a little girl (should be older than me) on the LRT one day. The whole LRT was packed and I just couldn't fit into the favorite spot which is right at the front wind screen where I could look at the way it go up and down. I was quite sad and standing next to Mama then the lady called out to me "Hello boy, you want to take a seat here?"

It was so sudden and what I knew the next moment was I was sitting next to her. Poor Mama got no where to sit but to stand a few foot away from me. The LRT moved on and this lady simply put her hands around my waist and to ensure that I don't sway from side to side or knock onto the wind screen. She even talks to me and calm me as she's a total stranger to me. Well, I had forgotten to inform her that I'm not afraid of stranger but just acting to be shy. I stayed quiet and calm throughout the whole journey.

Then, just when I was enjoying the scenery during the ride, that little girl pushes the lady hands away from me. Oh, she was jealous...was it because I'm too charming and frighten that I might snatch the lady away from her? Oh man, I just don't be bothering and carried on with the ride...

The lady even mentioned to Mama that I'm such a well-behavior boy! So proud!

I’ll try to figure it out some day then I’ll share my thoughts with you, ok? :)

New Spot with lots of FUN

"I've found a new playing spot together with god-brother Keith the other day at Aunty Janet's new house. This spot is supposed to be meant for a vase display but I ended up fitting into it perfectly! See the above pic to believe it to be true! Well, Aunty Janet had mentioned that she won't be displaying anything there so I'll get to have more fun every time I visit her lor."

"Both Keith and I had came up with an idea to play hide n seek with the rest while he was supposed to distract the rest while I hide inside the spot well. How he did it? Look at the pic above to have a better view!

Firstly, I fit into the spot nicely. Then Keith come over and block the spot so that no one can see me there! Isn't it perfect?

Well, there are simply so many ways to play there...I just enjoy climbing up to the spot then jump down from there, then I try to turn myself 360 degree within the limited space, and ..."

A day with Ger Ger

"Hey, look who's here! Ger Ger, Xiao Yi's baby girl! Wonder do you still remember her? She's a cocker spaniel and had just turned 4 yrs old.

I've not seen her since CNY this year, she had put on a little weight as well as more furry. She's so adorable and look more gorgeous than the last time. She came right to me when I called out to her 'Ger Ger (sounds as Girl Girl), ger ger...'

Luckily she did not try to lick me or fall on me...she just look at me and let me pat her. She's so huge as compared to my Ozzy. Wonder will Ozzy be jealous if he smells me with Ger Ger's scent? Oh, think Ozzy will be fine as he's an open-minded fellow."
