Great Nite Out!

Hi there! We just came back from Chevron after celebrating Xiao Yi's birthday! It was a GREAT day! We started off swimming in the pool next to the chalet then I took a nap. I woke up at 7 in the evening and saw my pals all arrived!

My great pals are Janita, Keith, Ryan, Charlene and me striking for a pose at the staircase in the chalet. (From top left to right)

The timing was just right as food was served shortly and all kids got a goodies bag from Xiao Yi! There were chocolates, biscuits, candies...and a water gun for all of us! Hence the next moment was like a water war everywhere! Not one was spared from getting a shot of water...haha...so much fun and all are wet, just like the weather while I'm taking my nap!

We just played till the wee hour and were so reluctant to say Goodbye to each other...

I'll be flying away with Mama on a holiday tomorrow, so do wait patiently for my return on 2 June till you got my latest update. Goodnite & catch up with you soon.

Superboy Returns!

I'm having a great time bathing one evening. Scrubbing myself and playing with the foams then...I think I saw something coming my way!

Yes, it's a bird...no, it's a plane and YES, it's an airplane! Then I became a Superboy! Do you still remember my Superboy's image posted in November last year? Hmmm...this new look without the top look much more nicer and MAN right?

Here's a recap!

Indoor Playground

Have you come across an indoor playground that is FREE, safe and so much to yourself while you don't have to queue for your turn for the rides?

Yes, of cos' it do exist, at least I've got one at home! Hmm...still don't get it? Well, let me show you my playground...

First of all, if you have a playpen at home, it would be a good spot to start setting up your own playground. Then you would need 2 mattresses, one thick and the other one slightly thinner.

Firstly, you place the thick mattress slating down the opening of the playpen acting as a slide. Then you place the thin mattress into the playpen by folding it in half and push the sides to have an opening in the middle acting like a shelter.

There, your own playground is up and ready to have lots of fun now!

I would make my way into the shelter and then slide my way down the slide...and if you are daring enough, you can dash your way down instead of sliding. I did and almost banged onto Mama who was taking pics for me in front of the slide...

I went up and down the slide so many times that the shelter is collapsing and resting on my back! Oh no...

Well, no fear at all as all I need is just to ask Mama to help rise up the shelter for me. Within a minute, it's up and more fun for me!

So what do you think of my newly invented playground? Its cool isn't it? Have fun on your own playground then!

Do note that it don't really have to pay much for some fun. Just need to be creative and enjoy what you are doing.

Counting Fun

1, 2, 3...I've started to count when I'm younger. Now at the age of 2yrs and 1 month plus, I can count from number 1 to 11. Unbelievable? Well, next time if you see me, do test it on me!

Do you know how I did it? It all started in the lift that we need to use daily. Why would it be so? Well, do you see the lighted level indicator in the lift? They come in numbers! So both Papa & Mama had asked me to look at it and start counting with the indicator and that's how I got the numbers!

And why from number 1 to 11? Reason is simple, cos' we live in the 11th floor and we would need to use the lift every time we need to go up or down. Isn't it a cool and fun way to learn counting? Never know that living in high floor can be an advantage for a toddler like me!

Nowadays, I don't just count blindly but I can recognize each and every number from 1 to 11! I can also count backward from 5 to 1 without any hints or from 11 to 1 with a guide. Please test me the next time you see me!

A Casual Saturday

It's a normal day that I had woke up as usual about eight plus in the morning. I started my day with a bottle of milk then watch the TV. Had my bath after I passed motion...ee...yucks...(should I leave this line out?)

Then I played my toys till Mama is ready to bring me out for a walk. We went to the nearby shops by bus and I got to go to the Aquarium shop to see fish fish. Mama ended up getting more fish fish for me! So great.

As usual, I'll ask Mama for a ride when I see those car car, train train and many more...Had managed to get a ride on the Airplane and I just go up and down...Just like the feeling to be on it!

After the ride, we went to the toy shop as usual but Mama had mentioned NO toy toy to me again...that message was actually convey by Papa...well, no toy toy but Mama got me a white board for my Thomas & Friends magnets anyway. We went home after getting lunch and I had my share when we reached home.

Ok, time to stop here as I'm due for a nap soon...see you round when I've got new things to update you guys! Sweet dreams to me.

VIP Treatment

It was a sunny morning today and we went for a swim at the Jurong pool. Uncle Bex and Aunty Janet had fetched both Mama & I since Papa was at work. We had breakfast first at MacDonald and then proceed to the pool.

It was the very 1st time that I went to Jurong pool. Wow, it was quite crowded there and I think my anxious look of dashing to the pool was spotted by Mama. The next thing that she reacted to me was to keep saying "Wait huh, Skyy Skyy wait..." And so I waited to feel the cooling water...

Finally the big moment came when we were all ready! I do enjoyed a fair bit of the pool there but...while entering the lazy river on a float with Mama was quite a tough choice! It was due to the splashing and dripping water along the way...and it was quite painful at times when the water just hit real hard on me!

Most of the pools there were not really baby friendly to me but as long as there are water to play with, I am more than contended.

After the swim, we went for lunch then headed Aunty Janet's home for a nap. As usual, I was given the whole master bedroom and their King size bed with air-con for my nap! Too cozy for a baby like me! I was pampered!

The moment I was awoke, I can choose to laze around further on the bed or to roam about the whole house freely. Aunty Janet even laid the mattress for me in front of the TV so that I can relax and watch my favorite VCD. More pampered treatment to me.

Dinner was served as usual by Aunty Janet and I enjoyed it so much that I finished my share today! Thanks for treating me like a Prince! I had a great day today!

Skyy At Play

I am enjoying myself with the present that Nanny and family had bought for me. To date, Papa had bought me a remote yellow train for my set. So cool when you are tired and just need to use the remote to control the train to move on.

Mama had bought me a bus plus some add on tracks for me too. Now, I can have a bigger track and more vehicles to play with.

But...still short of many items stated on the box...like helicopter, boat, bridge, police car, ambulance, fire engine and many many more...when will I collect all of them?

"Showing Off" Nite

"Mama had brought me along to her ex-colleague wedding dinner on Saturday. We were seated with a whole table of Sisters and Aunties whereby I don't know anyone there. But they seem to know me and kept looking at my direction. Kind of scary at first but once I'm used to the stares, I started to interact with them well.

On and off, I hear some compliments from them stating that I'm handsome, I'm behaving well, I'm so adorable and...Mama must be proud of me!

The food that nite was not really meant for me so while the rest were enjoying the delicacy, I had my own cake, biscuit and crackers. I had one and half bowl of shark fins as well. Yummy!"

"Half way through the dinner, people I don't know started to take pics with me. This is Aunty Gui Qiong and she had given me another piece of cake."

"This is Brother Meng Song, he looks so humble and macho to me. Hee hee..."

"And this is Aunty Hui Hua who is already a granny of 2!

Think I'm behaving so well that nite so Mama should be impressed and will bring me along the next time she attend any function or event."

Farm Visit (Part 2)

"We had our lunch at a very unique place before we proceed on to the next farm.

It was called the 'Bollywood Veggies Pte Ltd' and was located at Neo Tiew road. Not too far from the Goat Farm. Just a 5 minutes ride.

Poison Ivy Bistro - name of the restaurant allocated there had really caught my attention! It has both air-conditioned and non air-conditioned area for consumers. Quite cozy and you can relax and read the books from the book shelf there in a lazy afternoon.

There is also an Aromatic Garden with a pond next to the restaurant where you can have a walk there after your meal. You can also choose to stroll through the Organic farm to see what they have there. There are different types of veggie like lady finger, corn, long beans, cucumbers, bitter gourd, pumpkins, wintermelons, snake gourd, bottlegourd and many more. You can find bananas and papayas trees as well.

The uncommon medicinal trees and herbs like Horse Radish Tree, West Indian Pea Tree, Basil, Laksa Leaf and gingers can also be found there.

Kids would love to have a game of volleyball or basketball at the side of the restaurant if the weather is not too hot. Oh, there are simply too many things to explore there while I can't be listing all of them here. Do drop by the Bollywood Veggies website for more info."

"Oh, we really had a hearty meal and an enjoyed game of basketball at Bollywood Veggie Pte Ltd. Paul John had joined me in Papa's car on the way to the next farm. We sang songs along the way there and Incy Wincy Spider is one of the songs that we sang. It's cool to have his company along the journey."

"This is the Jurong Frog Farm, there are nothing else but frogs and more frogs! Those frogs that you see at the markets or restaurants are supplied by here. All frogs are huge in size while their baby tadpoles are also bigger than those found in the ponds."

"Next we went to the Fish Farm but I had forgotten to take any pics on the fishes but managed to capture the Tortoises while they were having their sun tan."

"The last stop that we went was the Vegetable center that sells fresh veggie as well as fruits. Uncle Francis even bought us half of a BIG water melon that was so juicy and tasty."

"This cute little squirrel was spotted at the Vegetable Center too. It was fed Pineapple by the care-giver there at the moment. He ate so fast that not after a minute, he's looking for another piece of pineapple.

It had been a fruitful trip and I had to thank Uncle Francis for leading us there. Looking forward for the next trip soon."

Farm Visit (Part 1)

"We went to visit various farms last Sunday together with my parents, Nanny & Family and Aunty Ann & Sister Silvia. The very 1st farm that we went was the Goat Farm. We were lucky to be on time for the demonstration done by the workers on how they milked the goats using special equipments."

"This cute little creature caught my eyes the minute I went into the feeding area. Look at his horns! Isn't he cute?"

"I started to feed them with the dry grasses bought from the counter. They all looked famished and would dash forward and towards whoever is reaching out the grasses to them. So poor things!"

"Paul John did his feeding too..."

"Gotcha! That's my dearest Nanny Agnes. Isn't she pretty?"

"This is sister Silvia (hope that I've spell out her name right) who owns a rabbit at home while I'll drop by her place to feed her rabbit when there's chance. Beside feeding the goats there, she too, took down a lot of notes on what she encounter at the farm. So hardworking of her. Hmm...why Paul John didn't take down some notes as well? Aren't both of you at the same age?"

"Oops, the older goats had started to fight and caught our attention when no one had bother to feed them. Well, they did succeed in that!"

"Mary Ann had been so nice to me that she kept volunteer to carry me when I'm tired."

"We took the last pic at Goat Farm before proceeding to another one. And before we left, we managed to taste the fresh goat milk. I don't really like it as it was chilly! But I'll definitely come back here to visit the goats when Papa and Mama are free."

Our Trip

"We are on our way to our outing! Uncle Bex drove us there as Papa was at work. There were Mama, Aunty Janet, Xiao Yi & Ger Ger on board. Do you know where are we heading?"

"We've reached! You got it?"

"Then came my 2 great pals - Keith & Janita! So excited to see them there too!"

"One more hint - see what Keith & I were holding here? Guess it right?"

"Well, we were at West Coast park and we were there to fly kites! We have our own kites and Aunty Cheng had one for me too.

The pic that you seen here was showing Uncle Bex helping me to put up my kite while Keith & Janita's kites were already up in the sky!"

"See how enjoyable was Janita with her kite!"

"I got to fly my very first kite on my own too!"

"See how high my kite was?"

"After a while, there were lightning so we got to stop. So Keith & I went for a walk round the park. We walked and walked and seems like there's no ending...the park is simply too big! We saw huge dogs twice or 3X the size of Gere Ger, smaller one than Ger Ger and one about the same size of Ger Ger too along the walk!

We saw people playing football, having BBQ, pinic near the shades, having fun at the playground while..."

"...what are we going to do now?"
