Updates on my Schools

Well, before I go into my school updates, here's a video on my warped faces done thru' Daddy's new Sony Ericson K800i mobile phone! It was so funny and I don't know who they are till Daddy said to me that they were all ME!

My School days can never be better if there are no extra activities going on. We had our 1st "Swimming" session last Tuesday right outside our school. Yes, all done on an inflated pool! Our teacher even taught us on how to fill our pool with waters. It was so fun but too short for a swimming session...maybe should ask Daddy to bring me to the real swimming pool one of these days.

Then we had birthday celebration for my classmate, Evangeline on last Thursday! She gave me a big goodies bag and treated me her birthday cake! Yummy...it would be my turn to treat her soon next month...just can't wait for that day to come!

Oh yeah! We baked our own biscuits today! They were edible and delicious! I was given 2 more pieces after school while I share them with Nanny Agnes, Paul John & Mary Ann. So sorry that there was none left for Mummy and Daddy...

To School Today

Mummy brought me to school today as Nanny Agnes need a day off. I woke up close to 11am this morning just like the normal weekends where there's no school. I had my lunch, bathed and there we went to the school. Think Mummy is glad that she can witness what I was going through in school today.

All of us would gather at the void deck next to my school 5 mins before the school starts, then we sang the National Anthem and made our pledges. Slowly we went, row by row to our classrooms. My row was the last one to enter the classroom and it was also the smallest class of all. There are only 7 of us which I'm the tallest and the only one wearing different uniform with the rest! Reason is due to my height and size. But luckily my classmates are all from the same age group as mine - 11/2 to 3+.

We have to remove our shoes and then take turns to go toilet and wash our hands before the class starts. Soon, it was the 'sing & greet' session that goes like..."Hello, hello, how are you today?..." followed by a story telling session...

I kept peeping out to see if Mummy was still there outside the class till I've totally forgotten about her presence...tea break was served at around 2pm then sing and dance again till class ends at 3pm. It was so great to see Mummy again who was waiting outside the class for me!

We wanted to visit Grandpa at Yishun initially but change of plan when he won't be there. So I get to visit Causeway Point Shopping Centre again...we went to Kiddy Palace and Metro toys section as usual! Just too bad that I didn't get to buy any toys...

These pics were taken while waiting for the bus to Causeway Point. Oh...don't think wrongly that Mummy was nagging at me again on the pic where I covered both my ears! It's the noise from the moving vehicles that passed us made me covered my ears! Then it was the boredness which almost killed my patient while waiting for the bus as we had missed 2 buses in one row! Sigh...

Oh, you have noticed the short little "tail" behind my head? Hmmm...actually Mummy wanted me to keep it out of fun the last time but it was me who wanted to keep it now! I even instructed my barber Uncle NOT to cut my "tail" away.

Trip to the Library

We went to the Library at Woodland Civic Plaza yesterday. This was the 1st time that I've been to a Library! And it was really an eye-opener!

Well, let me bring you through that one hour of experience there...

I was so excited the moment we went there cos it was so big, cosy and fully air-conditioned. We went right to the highest level - 5th floorth where all the Children books were located. Along the way up, it was like a shopping centre kind of feel and environment, so noisy and many people moving up or down the elevators! When you reached the entrance of the Children corner, it was like a big "Playground" to me! Many kids around my age were running around, many people sitting on the carpet floor, some uncles sleeping away on the sofa or on the floor...piles of books lying all over the places and it just seem so crowded and busy for a Library! Don't you agreed with me that this is just like a Playground or a shopping centre that only carries books and yet books?

Well, my excitement level was still on the high side despite seeing all of the above and I was soon blended into the environment...I roamed about, checking out shelves to shelves...shouted out to my parents when things excited me just like the rest do! But they would "sSSSShhh" to me, asking me to tone myself down...

I was so happy to see many books that trilled me and it made me wanted to settle down quickly to browse through the book that I've just picked up from the shelf. We were lucky to find a single sofa seat right at one corner where an Indian family of 3 was right in front of us, sitting on the floor with a big pile of books.

The book was on a dog breed known as Chihuahua and Ozzy was of the same breed. There were some pics which resemble just like Ozzy as well.

Just as we were about to leave...we realized that the Indian family had long gone while the pile of books were still there! Hmmm...

Another flow of chaotic scenes appeared right at the entrance too...when this particular mascot appeared at the event corner! All the kids gathered there and wanted to go near the mascot just like I do but you can only do so under 1 condition - you MUST borrow 4 books and proved it with the receipt!!! Haha...of cos' Daddy and Mummy find it very meaningless for us to do that and so we left the "Playground".

Who are they???

Daddy was so happy that his new handphone had finally reached him last Friday nite! It was a Sony Ericsson K800i 3G phone! Well, the minute that he got it, he started murmuring this and that "no good", "don't know how to use", "wow have this and that function"...blah blah blah...

And before I knew what was going on...I was asked to pose to his phone camera...

There came these results as shown below! I don't even know who they are but they do have the same green Happy Feet singles just like I do!

Then Mummy told me the faces are all made out of my face! All done by a click on Daddy's handphone! How amazing it was!

This one to my Mummy!

Poor Mummy had been working so hard for the past 2 weeks, last week at the Suntec for the IT Show and this week, The POPULAR Sales at Expo! Luckily she managed to have the Sunday for us! Yes, so that she can have time with me! I'm not being selfish but only when she's around, I would get to go shopping or anywhere there's toys!

We went through some of the past video clips and found that I'd missed out this particular one to be posted here! Hope that she won't be angry...although her big day had long passed since somewhere in February.

So how do I fair? Not bad huh??? Cos I managed to sing in both English and Chinese!

Driving

This video was taken somewhere in January this year near the Ang Mo Kio Hub. This was also the very 1st time that I've "drive" in public with so many others! I think I fair well enough to drive again in future except that I should avoid banging onto others! (Giggling)

Grandpa had bought me a 6V battery-operated ride-on car when I was younger but it was not fully utilized till today. Both Mummy and Daddy need to work while we usually reached home about 9pm so it's very unlikely for them to bring me downstairs for a ride. They would be exhausted by that time and it would be a once in a blue moon kind of occasion that we go for a ride! We just went for one yesterday after Mummy came back from work at the IT Show which reminded me of this video! If only that both of them can have lesser time in work then we could enjoy more rides in future! Hmm...will it be possible? I think I would have to dream on...

IQ Boy is back!

Hi there, do you still remember the video that I've posted some time back on me naming my die cast Thomas & Friends trains? Well, I've been tested by Mummy again! And this time round, my collection range is kind of double the last one! It's so challenging!

I tried it the first round but had to pause when I reach one of my latest train - Murdoch! To my hurry and can't name it...I shouted out "Oscar" - Aunty Janet's Jack Russell...haha...

In the 2nd round, I did it at my own pace and I guess that I fair much better! Cheers! Do test me again the next time!

New Environment

Just to inform my friends out there that I've changed my school to a People's Action Party (PAP) Kindergarten! Today is my 1st day at my new school. Well, the class was small with just 6 of us - 4 girls and 2 boys at the moment and is meant for kids aged 21/2 to 3+. It's a pre-nursery class and is named as the Elmo class! As according to the Office staff, our class can only take in maximum 10 students with 2 teachers so that all can have their fair bit of attention from the teachers.

I was in a new environment but luckily there's one classmate whom I've know of from my previous school. She started here just a day earlier than me. It's so good to have a friend here so that I won't be lonely.

In my new school, we have to sing the National Anthem before we start our lesson and this is something new to me! Snacks and drinks are also provided...so shiok! Got to wear new uniform in green and white too. Will try to post some pics here with my new uniform the next round.

The day ended well and I'm not sure if I would miss my ex-teachers or ex-classmates...but I'm sure that I've adapted to the new environment well!
