Last Visit for CNY?

Wonder if this would be the last CNY visit? We went to Aunty May's place on Saturday and I'm glad that Lulu (Aunty May's schnauzer) didn't give me a hard time. All work out well for us, the kids and Lulu especially Zosia and Terzie who were particular afraid of dog! But this time round, they played "Fetch" together and they seem to have a good time too.

This is Lulu, but this pic wasn't taken on the day but provided by Aunty May some time back. She looks exactly the same as in the pic now, so adorable and "greedy"...cos she kept following me when I was eating! Haha.

Besides having some great time with Lulu, their best spot MUST be the exercise bike which they fought over and over again for a chance to sit on it! They finally stopped fighting for it after Uncle Janson asked them to stop!

These are the 3 beauties again! Starting from left, that's Jewel, Zosia and Terzie. Zosia and Terzie are sisters. They really dressed up for the visit!

And this is the pretty Jewel and handsome me!

How you think of our pose? Isn't it contains the future model quality?

Or the high level of self-confidence? Haha...

Oops! This one not under my control! I swear!

Well, the CNY is almost over soon and how many Ang Baos have you received so far? I wish that I can have more but that would mean Mummy would have to give out more! Anyway, as long as I can get the "BIG" Thomas & Friends toy, I'll be contended. Hee hee, but sad to say that we went to United Square's Toys'R'Us and I have yet to see one that I desired and I was home empty handed again! Sigh.

More CNY Gathering

Almost till the end of the long CNY break and Ryan & Charlene's place is our last destination. Been waited long to see Ryan's Thomas & Friends collection hence I woke quite early today at about 9AM plus. But this is also partly due to the noise created by the Lion Dance at our neighbor place at about that time too! So poor Mummy had to wake up so early with me while Daddy managed to catch more sleep.

I put on the Bossini Monopoly range of Tees and jeans bought by Aunty Cheng today. I think I should be able to catch one's attention too today with this YELLOW outfit.

I just can't wait to play Ryan's toys when I reach his place! But I had to obey Mummy and to have my lunch first. Sister Charlene faced the same fate as me as we both have not finish our food while Ryan had gobbled up all his.

See how happy was Charlene when she got to play with the rest too!

She even put on the "Xiao Wan Zi" (a cartoon character) mask which makes her more like a doll now, so cute!

We managed to take some pics together except for Sister Ting! She is really a grown up now and just don't feel like taking pic with us at that moment. Btw, do you know who was the Red and Green Power Ranger?

Come closer and make a guess!

The answer is Ryan as the Green ranger while Keith is the Red ranger! We made up to be the FANTASTIC 4! (Hahaha)

Lastly, Mummy always make me take pic with sister Charlene who is exactly 1 month younger than me! Well, she made it again this time!

What were you doing?

Hi there, what were you doing on the 2nd day of CNY?

Well, it seems like any other normal day as we headed home after visiting my Nanny Agnes! I played my toys one after another, taken dinner with my parents, watched my VCD and that's another day!

Oh, I put on my new clothing today. They were a gift from Nanny. Well, the poses were not by me but suggested by Daddy! How do I fair?

The red shirt with a tie printed on it was so eye-catching man! Don't you think so?

Me looking forward for tomorrow as we will be going to Ryan & Charlene place. Learnt that Ryan had his own collection of Thomas & Friends toys too...so I can't wait for the visit! Mummy had started reminding me that those toys doesn't belong to me while I can't bring them home...most importantly is I must share with them and no fighting! Well, let's see how well will I fair.

Happy Lunar New Year!

On the 1st day of Lunar New Year, let me wish ALL a Happy Lunar New Year and may ALL have their desired toys toys! The more toys the merrier! (Giggling)

How do you find my dressing today? This Shrek shirt was a gift from Mummy's boss, Uncle Jason and it was from Australia - Gold Coast last December! The Espirt jeans was a good catch from HK during our trip. Lastly, my hair was combed by Daddy.

Ok, all ready to go visit my relative and hope to get more Ang Bao (red packets containing $$$)!

We went to Daddy's Aunty place and we waited long to see Brother En En and Xuan Xuan! This is baby Bao Xuan who is only 21/2 months old.

This is Bao En, Xuan's elder brother and we played along after he had warmed up.

The day ended not long after the play as I was so tired and so do my parents. We had a long day yesterday as we went to 3 different places for Lunar New Year reunion dinner and it started from noon till midnight 2AM! Think I need to recharge now for more visits tomorrow. Enjoy your breaks too!

Wrap up on my HK trip!

Here's the wrap up on my HK trip, will go straight to the point then.

We had our own free and easy days after the Disneyland trip on the 3rd day. We went to almost all the theme markets available in the Kowloon Peninsula area which is also where our hotel was located. We been staying at the Majestic hotel, rated at 4-stars and was located near the Jordan MTR (Same as our MRT but in HK, they call it MTR instead of MRT). Just a 5 mins walk from our hotel, we will reach the 1st theme market - Temple Street night market which resemble very much like our local pasar malam here. But, a pity that they do not have those kiddy rides while you can see lots of the adult "TOYS" which are not suitable for kids! What are those then? You would have to ask Mummy and Daddy...me too young to understand!

Just one stop away from Jordan MTR, you will reach Mongkok station where you get to shop at the popular Ladies Market, Sports good, Electronic goods, Gold Fish market and Flower market. These markets are in the street after street while each street alone covers hundreds of small and big shops...you can easily spend a whole day here shopping till you drop! I'm not kidding you and I'm lucky that my parents don't shop that way!

Well, the last 3 days in HK was to shop, shop and shop but we don't eat, eat and eat like others do...haha...we eat only when we are tired while shopping or during meal time. Actually most of the time, it's just plain window shopping at our leisure.

We passed by a pet shop one of the 3 days and that's when we all started to miss our dear Ozzy the Chihuahua! Wonder how he is doing at Ah Gong's place. There was this little Chihuahua in one of the cage and its size is just like Ozzy! So adorable that I wanted to go in and give it a pat but...no way unless you are going to buy it home. Anyway, I've chosen 2 packets of "treaty treaty" (my way of saying Ozzy's treat) for Ozzy! He's sure to like me more!

This pic was taken when we landed near the Western market which was a shopping complex by itself. You might find the name very attractive but when you reach there, it was so much apart from its name...you don't see much western related shops but from one look, you saw all very Chinese like goods - those Chinese like textile, embroidery, Chinese calligraphy and so on.

The only store that caught our eyes was this shop that sells all BUS related products. Even the interior has the yellow pole and hanger just like a real bus! I was so excited and I bought a mini red double decker bus for myself! If only "they" don't rush me, I should be in the store longer and get more buses back home!

Wait, don't get it wrong that this statue is part of the shop! It's not ok, it's just a statue about a few feet away! Haha...

Then I tried to call someone home but realized that I don't even have a single cent with me!

The best thing here was the TRAM! It was so colorful and I thought it was a train in the first place as it was strapped to a wire on its top! Then I kept pestering Mummy and Daddy to take one of them for a ride and my wish was granted! So great!

The last nite in HK was one of the best nites ever too as we went up to the Victoria Peak! You would definitely regret it if you don't drop by here after you leave HK! There are many ways that you can reach the peak - by taxi, bus, walk or my favorite - the PEAK TRAM! Getting there is an unforgettable trip. There's nothing in the world like the Peak Tram. Pulled by steel cables, the tram climbs 373 metres (about 1,200 feet). It's so steep that the buildings you pass look like they're leaning at a 45°angle! Whether you're going up or coming down, you'll love this trip. It is worth the half hour queue to go on board the peak tram!

These houses belong to the rich people who can fork out millions and millions of HK dollars! Daddy took this pic when we were at the peak and it meant those rich people live at the peak too! What a luxury life they are enjoying here man!

Well, no money to stay at the peak but at least, I can take back some good memories of the peak through photos.

More photos...

...and more! All from different angles.

What a magnificence view from the peak!

See the difference between the day and nite! Nite is so beautiful but as Daddy didn't bring along a tripod this trip, not many good nite shots were taken.

We had a hearty meal at the peak too at this Bubba Gump whose name actually comes from the famous Forest Gump movie! It was a western seafood restaurant which serves Mummy's favorite Shrimps as their main core dish! They sell toys and accessories related to the restaurant name as well next door.

Well, the view here is as good as the peak viewing place while you can admire it at your own leisure without "fighting" a good spot with many others! Do drop by The Peak for more details.

As that day was a Saturday while there were many tourists heading the peak same like us by the peak tram, we couldn't go downhill by the peak tram and so we took a cab instead! I can only remember that the cab go round and round till we reached the Star Ferry station downhill.

Then we took a ferry across the sea to reach Kowloon Peninsula and back to our hotel. It was such a fun-filled day where we tried all the different mode of transport available in HK!

Soon...it was home sweet home and here's my procession from the HK trip! Not much huh...should have bought more toys from Ocean Park, Disneyland, Victoria Peak and...

Really hope to visit HK again in the near future so that I can visit their Zoo, Botanical Garden, Central Library... (Hee hee)

Hong Kong Disneyland Here I Come!

Finally, after a long wait...we went to Hong Kong Disneyland on the 3rd day of our trip!

"The "chanting" of taking areoplane to see Mickey Mouse will soon be over" said Mummy. I don't blame her for stating this sentence as I indeed, had repeated numerous time that "I'm taking the areoplane to see Mickey Mouse" since day 1! She said once to me after our tickets are confirmed and I've repeated at least once almost everyday till we really arrived at Disneyland! Hurray!!!

Well, to really reach Disneyland is a real challenge! Why? Cos' you have to walk at least a few hundred metres from where your tour bus alights you! I was already asking Mummy to carry me before we reach Disneyland! Haha.

Before entering the main gate, this is where lots of people would take a pic of themselves with this statue of Mickey and the big whale! I had my pic taken here too! Too many shots on just this statue alone so I choose the BEST one out of the best! Hee hee...

Daddy would take any pic of me whenever there's a good "spot"! Here's the statue of a Rocket in the Tomorrowland. We took the Autopia - future aboard electric cars that cruise along the highways of Tomorrow and also interacted with Stitch at the Stitch Encounter where it actually communicates to us from the screen itself! We were so amazed as Stitch behaved so "real"! A pity that due to my height, there's some rides that I can't try and so Daddy and Mummy don't get a chance to try too.

If you got a chance to visit Disneyland, do remember to catch their live performances or animated shows! It's a MUST or else you will regret! We managed to catch a few fantastic performances that day while this pic was taken during "The Golden Mickey" musical celebration of Disney's best loved films, songs and characters! It was so GRAND and some of the characters even ran off stage and shake hands with us! Mr Tazan had gave Mummy a hand shake when he passed by our row!

All the performances were fantastic and I will still remember some of the casts when I'm older. One of the best show was this "Mickey's PhilharMagic" which was a magical 3-D adventure. We had to put on the specialize 3-D spectacles in order to see the 3-D effects. There were moments when the items seems to be flying directly at us and you just can't help by covering your face or use your hands to "push" it away...well, of course you don't really touch it. Then came the water drops and yummy smells...so unforgettable experience which might be once in my life time! Hope NOT!

More pics were then taken at the Fantasy Garden where Mickey and his friends will be there waiting for us to take pics with them! This Goofy is so funny and comical that he almost tricked me in saying bye bye before we take pic! Hmm...me no small guy anymore...

Well, Mickey is the hottest choice here so some queuing time is needed before you can take some pics with him! Luckily that we managed to get some!

Nobody have told me that Winnie the Pooh is the most affectionate character among all but I had experienced it here at that moment when he hugged me closely the moment he saw me!

Then to hold hand with this little red dragon that I don't even know his name...

I had took pics with all the characters which were available that slot with Daddy's camera. Those that were captured by the so called "pro" from Disneyland would cost me S$20+ per photo which we didn't get a single one, it was too expensive and not practical! Think Daddy took a better job then them! I had lots more that include Mummy as well!

Well, you must be asking why there's no rides introduction so far, right? Ok, here you go! This Jumbo Elephant ride was great as I took a few times all with Mummy!

We took the Mad Hatter Tea Cups for a spin as well but Daddy dare not take it or else, he'll go giddy after the cups go round and round!

There were many other rides which we had tried but as my parents are "Web SHY" so I can't post the pics here...basically each ride would take us average about 10 mins of queuing time which was consider quite reasonable. Thanks to the non-peak period while every rides and shows are still accessible. But there were simply too many mainland people whom you might have a hard time queuing up with them...as you may realize that you are behind them if you are not alert! Pushing and noise population are also unavoidable! This is because they are very likely to shout from one point to another for their friends or relative to join in their queue or just to send a regard!

When you find anything that interests you in Disneyland...just strike a pose and snap it!

This is one of the day events where you will get to see how many people actually entered Disneyland with you during your visit! This is the once in a day - Disney on Parade! We were there slightly late so all the good seats or spots were already taken up by other visitors!

Well, just have to beat against the Sun that shine directly on us and tried to capture as many good memories as possible! I tried my best to wave at all the characters too so as to get their attention on me in returns! This is Daisy, Donald Duck's girl friend!

Oh, here comes Donald Duck!

Who would you think of when you see the seven dwarfs?

Yes! Snow White!

Here’s the Mickey parade car!

"Chipmunks"? Sorry if I got the spelling wrong but at least it sound like this!

Too bad that as we were against the Sun, Daddy couldn't capture all the characters but at least we captured them in our minds!

Time really flies and soon it was night time! The Cinderella Carousel really looks beautiful even in the dark!

This is a nite view on the main street, USA. The night had quieted down when the moon moved in!

But actually, all are waiting for the time to capture the once in a day too - Disney in the Stars Fireworks at 8pm!

I was quite frighten in the beginning maybe due to lack of sleep and I kept asking Daddy and Mummy to go home...but I was peeping at the fireworks when we walked our way out...

It's been a fruitful & enjoyable day at Hong Kong Disneyland and here's what we had brought back as souvenirs - Tigger Tiger key chain for Mummy and 2 die cast cars and a Autopia license for myself! Daddy got all the memorable photos for us!
