New ME!

Hoho...this is my NEW look! How is it? Went for a hair cut on Monday and I had requested the barber to make it "Botak" (bald in Malay)...but to keep my "tail"! I wanted to be like Daddy who just had his hair cut very short too!

Mummy don't really like my new hair-style while she hope that my hair will grow faster...she misses my old charming look...

Our Short Getaway

Our short getaway last weekends was to Pasir Ris Downtown East Chalet! Daddy had succeeded in bidding for the chalet again this year under his company's benefit to the staff! The timing came nicely to celebrate Aunty Janet & Ryan's birthdays together!

I was excused from school again on last Friday...this time with mixed feelings as there will be swimming session again at school on Friday! Well, Mummy had managed to make me changed my mind to choose for the chalet instead of to school!

I found my own "territory" right after we had checked into the chalet! It was a cozy corner with 2 mattresses on the floor together with the toys that I had brought along.

The weather was quite bad on Friday as it rained almost the whole day after we had settled down. So no swimming for me...so sad (NOT as promised by Mummy!) but we went to ExplorerKids instead. This was the 3rd time that I had gone there.

Same as the last 2 visits, I had a great time there again climbing up and down. I had shown the reluctance to leave the place again when the time was out! I think I can still move on despite that I was quite restless after the 1 hour play.

The surrounding of the premises was renovated for a NEW look with added attractions!

Then we had painting at the art & craft corner. I chose a sail boat while Daddy & Mummy had assisted me in putting the colors up.

I chose all the colors by myself and I had even requested the Uncle to put my name on my boat!

Mummy had helped me to paste it in our bath room so that I can see it every day.

As usual, when I get to see the car ride at any location...I would request to have a ride! So there is no exception when I saw the car ride right at the entrance of the premises!

My request was answered but only ONE ride! So sad...but it was better than none. I enjoyed it as much as the last ones!

Before we called it a day for the 1st nite there, we headed for some Ben & Jerry ice-cream. But to our disappointment, it was closed barely at around 9+!

No ice-cream so take some pics with their "cow". Moo moo...

The weather on the 2nd day had at last, granted me for a swim with Daddy! At least, my car float is not gone to waste for bringing it along all the way from home! Haha...

I got a new water gun too!

All invited guests had arrived while we played with bubbles before the BBQ started. These were complimentary from Aunty Cheng and each kid had a bottle.

I tried to blow the bubbles by myself but...I think I'd poured most of it onto the floor...

Watch the video below closely and you will understand what I meant.

Soon it was the time that we had all waited for, the birthday celebration and the cake!

The cake was a design of a Doramon for Aunty Janet and the head of a Transformer for Ryan!

It was supposed to be Aunty Janet & Ryan's birthday celebration but looked...who was standing right in front of the cake! Charlene, me, Keith and Ryan right at the back while Aunty Janet was standing at the side...no wonder adult always say that when there's a birthday celebration, it's always the kids’ birthday!

Captured a video below for all of us to remember this fun-filled day!

The last day at Downtown East was back to our own family day.

While waiting for Daddy to go toilet, I made fun with this Ronald Macdonald!

We went to Escape Theme Park too. I rode on the "4-wheel drive" under the hot sun.

So excited on the Go Kart while queuing up...but cried after Daddy and I board the Go Kart!

The ride assistant thought I was scared of the ride but the fact was I wasn't on the driver's seat! I don't get to hold and drive the Go Kart!

Things got better when Daddy placed my hand onto the steering wheel...there we had a good ride! Sorry Dad for making you the center of attraction when all the rest in the queue started looking at us when I cried!

Then I had a good ride too on the plane!

Well, if you don't see enough of the pics that Mummy had captured, catch them all in the slide below!

Enjoy!

Home sweet home so fast after a 3 days 2 nites stay at Downtown East! I really had fun during the stay. Hope to go back for more stays soon...

Singapore Birthday

Time really passed so quickly while Singapore 42nd birthday already passed over the last weekends! I don't really celebrate with the Nation but enjoy the 2 days off from school. Cos it’s a long weekends while I got to enjoy each day differently.

We went to Raffles City Robinson to get Ryan's birthday present on National Day itself! Uncle Bex, Aunty Janet, Mummy and I were so bold to have traveled all the way there despite that the National Day Parade was just round the corner too! We parked the car a distance away from our destination and spotted that there was already a big group of people at the Padang Field! All dressed in RED! So am I but not the rest with me!

We arrived there close to 4PM and shopped particularly on the level 3 Toys dept. Then it was a brief browse through of stuff for Aunty Janet and a quick bite at the Soup Spoon.

Mummy captured my pics using her mobile phone when I simply can't sit still in the restaurant! They were taken while I was lying on the bench, head next to Mum.

When Mum put all the pics together as one and rotated them 180 degree, this is what we got! Much better pics of me, right? More charming isn't it?

We left the town area and headed to Aunty Cheng place after that. Along the way to Uncle Bex's car, we saw more crowds in RED. Luckily at around 6PM, the traffic was still quite ok and smooth till we reach Aunty Cheng place.

The Parade was still live telecast on the TV when we reach Aunty Cheng place and just when the National Anthem started before President Nathan left the Parade area...

Just like what we did last year! We quickly stand up straight and sang the National Anthem together with those shown on TV! Well, I sang better than last year but too bad that Mummy didn't capture a video for that! Let's recap on the last year's video below:

See the difference on 3 of us?

We had a special guest whom had stayed overnight at our place for the 1st time on National Day itself. It was really nice to have another one with me at home who I can play toys together. He's none other than Keith, my God-brother!

The moment that we reached home, it was play, play and play till late nite, follow by watching the Cars movie on bed together.

We went to Macdonald for breakfast the next morning while waiting for Daddy to bring us out for venture. Our venture ended soon when both of us shown the sleepiness symptom...cos Keith was awoke at 7am in the morning crying that he wanted to go home while I just felt tired when it was near my usual nap time.

We will be away for a short getaway these weekends, do watch out for our getaway update in the next post then! Bye Bye and nite nite!

Great News!

I had a great time during my last excursion with my school mates! It was also my dream came true as I got to sit beside Evangeline on our way to our destination! I had fun too with Chen Chen, Bernard and Gerald playing the balls together!

Well, actually the purpose for me to update here is to announce to the world that I'm going to be a big brother soon!!!

Nope, don't think wrongly huh...cos it was Aunty Cheng who had baby in her tummy and not Mum! Mum told me not to bang onto Aunty Cheng's tummy and never ask her to carry me from now onwards. And I just wonder when will the baby arrive and is it a boy or girl? Hmmm...guess that we would have to wait for sometime later before we can get to know whether it is a boy or girl. I would love to have a younger brother as what I've told Mum all these while!
