School Excursions

Great news today! We are going to Downtown East eXplorerkid this coming Friday as our school's 2nd excursion! Mummy had signed the consent form and passed the $10 registration fees to Nanny Agnes, she would in turn pass it to my teacher. Yes, I'm going there again!

Had posted on my blog somewhere in November last year that I was treated to eXplorerkid during our stay at the Chalet at Downtown East before. While the experience will be different on this coming visit as I'm much older and fitter to explore the center!

I watched the video clip taken the last time while I was still a toddler, barely 21/2 years old! So funny to see myself in the video!

Playing with the balls...

Climb climb climb...

I'm really glad that I had joined my new school as I had learnt a lot from school. During our last excursion, we went to nearby NTUC supermart to buy fruits. Quite an enjoyable trip as I learnt to know the name of different type of fruits too.

Discovery Center

We went to Discovery Center last month to explore the place on our very 1st visit! Despite that there were a few warnings from Aunty Cheng that the place was boring, we still went ahead with our plan!

So 6 bold people went to Discovery Center - Aunty Janet, Uncle Bex, Sister Charlene, Brother Ryan, Mummy and me!

We arrived at the Discovery Center and realized that there was a company family day held on the same day. Hence there were people queuing every where...but this did not stop us from entering the center so we queued up too to get the entrance tickets for all! We ended up getting a package for all to enter the center as well as to catch the 2D and 3D show!

Ah ah...don't get it wrong...we are not watching the Shrek 3 here! We just happened to see this nice poster here while queuing for the tickets so we took pic with it!

The first thing after getting the tickets was to catch the 2D show and we were all so excited! But as the topic was on how a cyclist had managed to survive the long distance of cycling through the routes of mountains up and down...soon the excitement were all gone! But not to me...surprised? I was the only kid whom had watched the whole show in the theatre if I'm not wrong. Cos not long after the show started, Ryan was seen doze off while Charlene fast asleep on Uncle Bex lap! The noisy environment by a bunch of "excited" viewer had also quieted down! Haha...Mummy had at least made it through together with me, yeah!

We went to explore the discovery center after the 2D show while Ryan & Charlene were full of energy by that time! They sped off into the center like there were lots of toys for them to grab! Well, I joined in their race as I was equally excited too!

There were things that had caught our curiosity but it soon died down not long after we had our hands on it!

This particular one which we can see ourselves inside the big TV brought us some fun! Here's a video captured by Mummy "secretly" as there shouldn't be any photography or video taking in the premise!

Soon after some fun, it was time to catch the 3D show! It was an animated 3D show so guessed that we would like it! We got to put on the 3D glasses so that we could see the 3D effect.

So how do I fare? Handsome or cool?

Ryan sure looked excited! Charlene was seated quite far away from us so didn't manage to take a pic for her in glasses but heard from Aunty Janet that she refused to put them on.

It was almost time for the center to be closed after the 3D show but we decided to explore further at the center's surrounding.

Caught this big stationary plane round the corner and so we took pic with it!

The last stop would be this helicopter...take turns posing for the camera while inside.

It's my turn!

Then it was finally home sweet home for us! End of our daring adventure to the Discovery Center! My conclusion was you may pay the center a visit if you have never been to. But it is not a must go if you don't feel like to...

Gearing up!

Yo! So sorry for not updating my blog lately...cos' I'm too busy with...

Yea? Gearing myself up for coming 2008 Olympic? Haha...

Of cos not! These pics were taken some time back in February this year when I saw Daddy exercising...so I'm just trying to "imitate" him!

Actually the truth was, I've been too lazy to blog lately...or maybe the zest in blogging has died down slowly! I'm also short of that kind of time to update here regularly...that's life in such a fast pace country - Singapore! When did we start rushing for everything almost everyday everywhere?

Wake up at 8+ in the morning, rushing off to Nanny place then to school at 1pm. Nap for 2 hours after school and then to play and wait for my parents to fetch me home...play for a while more when back at home then to watch some VCD before bedtime and that's it! The same routine the next day and day after...luckily the weekends are slightly different with some outings occasionally...that's life!

Tattoo anyOne?

This group of pics were actually taken somewhere in March this year while I just don't have the time to post it here!

Oh, don't get it wrong that I've the real tattoo...it's actually the sticker type whereby you put it onto your skin using water over it! I did it all out of fun as Paul John did the same to himself too!

Will try on other designs in future if there's any chance. Maybe the spray type will last longer, just like what Keith and the rest had got it at the Zoo. I don't get to see the tattoo store when we were at the Zoo the other day...

East Coast in the Evening

Out of the blue, on one weekend late afternoon, we went to East Coast.

We were so excited when a jet plane flew above our car leaving a stretch of long "cloud-like" marking! Hence this pic was captured!

Followed by a clearer one where there's no blockage using Mummy's Nokia N73 ME mobile phone. It should be from those planes which were under training for the coming National Day!

Then it was this AMAZING view right in front of us near the Ski360degree center!

We had slowed down our paces to look at those sportsmen trying out their hands on Singapore 1st Cable skiing or wakeboarding! It was so COOL that I almost wanted to try out too! But Mummy kept saying I too short...

Mummy captured how they ski, all in the video below...

Isn't it cool? We saw a girl about 8 years old had her hands on it too! How I envy her! Visit their link here at Ski360degree for more details! Try it if you are at the acceptable height...haha...

While you are at the center, we will be easily got carried away by the loud bombastic music as the background! Me too, was carried over by the music and so I danced freely in public!!!

How do I fare? You should drop by and see it yourself one of these days! It so happening here at the East Coast Park, especially in the evening!
