Craze for Lego...

Happy New Year! It's the first day of the year 2009! Will be going to K1 this year and my "ex-girlfriend" Evangeline will be joining me in the afternoon class! It's great news since we have been parted for the whole 2008...wonder does she still remember me...heehee...

Been craving for all kinds of Lego lately, I think the craving got stronger after playing the Nintendo DS Lego Indiana Jones & Lego Batman! Had came across the actual Indiana Jones Lego set at one of the departmental store and I had wish for one in X'mas! I was lucky to have my dream fulfilled!

It was a gift from Uncle Manfred & Aunty Dew while Dad helped to get all parts assembled!

There were small detailed parts like guns, gold coins, snakes, spiders, etc included in the set. I had endless fun with this set!

Received 2 more Lego sets this X'mas as well!

This Police set was a gift from my parents. It had very detailed handcuff for the "thieves" too!

This Express Mail Plane was from Aunty Joanne during X'mas too!

Xann's Baby Shower

Xann was 1 month old rite after X'mas and we had a baby shower for her at the Yishun Safra Clubhouse! It took about 2 weeks time for Mummy to prepare for her big day while it all ended in a glimpse! This was how I look for the big day...but we had all missed out the most important thing - to capture Xann's pic for the day! Sigh...Daddy & Mummy were feeling guilty but can't really blame them as there's no volunteer that day...they were so busy entertaining our guests...

Xann don't even get to take a pic with her beautiful Baby Shower cake as she was sound asleep in her pram! So I stood in her position instead! The cake was yummy and best of all; it was a gift from Aunty Patty!

Everyone was given this door gift as a gesture for attending her party! Mummy had ordered them specially from Aunty Patty's pastry shop! Every box was tailored with Xann's pic and a THANK YOU note to our guests.

There were 4 cupcakes in each box which had the attached designs. Aren't they pretty? Do check out Aunty Patty's Pat & Felcor Pastry Kitchen website for more choices should you require her help!

Xann was a lucky baby with many well wishers since she was born! There were so many gifts from so many people while her closet was full of new clothing which could last her in a different one daily for at least a month I guess! Haha...believe it? Anyway, thanks to all the well wishers for the gifts! Here are some of the gifts pics.

Well, as the color Pink was normally in our mindset for a girl hence Xann's closet was almost 90% covered with Pink clothing...even her rocker was also Pink!

Xann had her BCG 2nd dose injection done yesterday. She really resemble me when I was baby - we didn't cried during our injection but just letting out a cry at the moment when the needle was injected then we were back to our sleep! We are the brave and tough ones!

Xann grew a fare bit too for the past 1 month as from the birth weight of 3.32kg, she is now a healthy 4.73kg baby girl! Her height is also taller at 55.7cmas compare to her birth height of 49cm! Can't wait to see her grow till she is able to play with me...I've so many toys to share with her!

Post X'mas Glimpse

Thank GOD that Mummy was in time to break free from her confinement on X'mas day while we had a X'mas party at home! It was a family gathering while I got to spend time playing with my buddies! Xann was all dressed up for the big day too!

Here are some candid shots for the nite!

Queuing for our presents were one of the best time slots for the nite...but...there are some requirements & obstacles to overcome before we got ours!

Group pic with one of our X'mas gifts!

Xann at 21 Days Old

Aunty Heidi had brought Min Xi over the last Saturday while we had a great time catching up even tough they just dropped by for a while. Min Xi was so cute to have brought along her little red umbrella as it rained that day! She had passed on some of her old clothes to Xann.

Mum had managed to capture some nice shots out of many on Xann's 21 days old! Look, isn't she "innocent" in this pic below? She likes to listen to people talking to her nowadays with that look!

She would smile if you tell her good things about her.

She would pose at camera if she's in the mood to...does she resemble Daddy or Mummy more? Many said she looks just like me when I'm a baby!

Does she looks like a little princess in this outfit? The short skit and pink socks were passed on from Min Xi. So cute!

I find that she looks like a ballet dancer too in this outfit! Don't you think so?

Day 10

Day 10 of Xann's arrival, it was a break through to both of us!

I had a day out with Aunty Janet, Uncle Bex and my 2 Grandmas! Yes, my Mum's mother & Dad's mother at the same time! They happened to be at my place when Aunty Janet wanted to bring me out for a walk! It must be a real challenge to her as it will be historical 1st trip for all of us! It was also the very 1st time that I had ever gone out with someone besides my parents & Nanny! I never dare to go out with anyone even my closest Grandpa...

Anyway, it turned out to be an enjoyable trip while I guessed I was the most pampered one! I had a cool animal ride at Vivo City, had fun at the playground, ate at McDonald under my request, shopped at Toys R Us with a Lego Oil Tanker set (a gift from Daddy's Mother)...

The day ended with Uncle Bex carrying me back home since I fell asleep during the journey home! Really pity my 2 Grandmas as they had to catch up with my fast pace during the outing and always kept a lookout for benches or resting corner to rest their tiring feet! But it was not the end of my day yet as I continued to play on with my new toy! Daddy helped to build me a tall tower while I played on with my existing "Fire Fighters" imagining that the tower was on fire!

Xann was very active yesterday as well, as she had shown a series of expressions to Mummy who had captured them in camera! Many of the expressions resemble just like me when I was at her age!

The last break through of the day was...I brave up to go to bed WITHOUT a diaper!!! I wanted to prove that I was a big boy and a big brother now and I really did it without wetting my bed this morning! Hurray! Hope that it's a good start to me for leaving all the diapers out of my life in the near future! Yeah!

A Sweet Surprise

I received a surprise after Mum & Dad were back from Mum check up this noon! A new car play set for my well being these few days when little sis arrived! Victory!!!

Aunty Janet been very helpful all these while as she was the main co-coordinator for Mummy before she went and after delivery. She ensures that the confinement lady arrived on time and brought her to market when it is needed. She acts as a runner too, to help get all the necessary stuff to make our kitchen more equipped since Mum don't cook...We really appreciate her wholeheartedly help during this period! Things would be a mess without her around. Grandma, my Mummy's mother had been helpful too, as she's been coming over to play with me while Mum is resting. Here's a pic of me, Xann & Grandma while it's still so rare to see Xann's eyes open! According to the confinement lady, she likes to open her eyes and start exploring around the environment only in the wee hours...smiling away to herself with her 2 dimples...it's a sight that we won't get to see it unless we stay up with her!

So far the pic below was one of the best shots taken for both of us!

You should be amazed by my little sis big ambition to hold her own milk bottle at Day 6! Haha...

You will also be attracted by her mischievous expression like this one too!

Jealousy in me?

Mummy had shown me her mobile phone wall paper earlier...and I cried! The wall paper was changed to Xann's Day 1 pic...where's mine??? What's wrong with me? Why I reacted that way...could it be the wall paper used to be my pic all these while?

Mum saw me cried and the next thing was...she showed me her mobile phone again...it was now a pic of Xann & me! I smiled with consent to her and back to my play!
